Nah, the main rumours suggested 250-300k. They're already on 130-140k, apparently. Theo facking Walcott is on 120k p/w.

I agree with that point, however. It seems the rule is that the manager gets paid more than the players though, which is understandable. I imagine Fergie had similar issues with Rooney.

I'm really interested in anecdotes from other clubs on how they dealt with their backroom staff after replacing the gaffer.

I wouldn't mind him getting a stab at the job. We could always do with a little drama now and then.

I hear he's been known to grab a few collars behind the scenes.

How about Silva from Hull? Done a great job already and experienced.

I'm surprised you guys didn't move for Klopp at the time he was available, don't know if you would go for him now or aim higher?
