.....is staying on BT Sport for the next three year rights package starting Autumn 2018. They've paid £1.18bn to outbid Sky again. Significant difference will be no highlights package on ITV though that may change if they sub licence some of the games to free to air telly.
It's roughly a 20% increase on their current deal. By my (warped) logic, does this mean we can make even more moolah than the £30m we made this year by qualifying for the group stages?

Wouldn't pay for Sky or BT. Fortunately my mate pays for both and gives me access
In all seriousness the whole thing is wrong. No one should have to pay through the teeth to watch a couple of games of football per week.

The EPL has turned into a race for a CL place. It's almost like being the actual champions of the league is an also ran.

Get a Vuo+ box in and get it all for nothing (apart from an initial one of payment for the box and a yearly conscription of £15 to the hosting group) watch all the matches to your hearts content on Bt, Sky, eir, and all sky channels

Won't last. Might have something to do with the number of Irish teams in the competition

I had BT but my e-mail account was hacked and had to put up with 3 weeks of speaking to a call centre in fvcking India who were as much use as chocolate tea pot. Eventually I pulled the plug and told them they were fvcking useless.

The BT app is far better than Sky GO or Sky Q for watching games at work, so I am okay with this news.
