This really is the best time for Wenger to hand over the reins IMO.
The current squad that's been assembled is by far not to bad at all. It has players that are entering their prime years with some that are closing out their careers probably but still on paper a good squad.
I know you can never guarantee the success of a new Manager but if we get the right one in place for next season with fresh ideas and tactics this would be the most ideal for him to take over the helm.
The current players could be tweaked for better performance with new ideas and personal and some strong leadership from the Manager to the field with some additional players with those qualities, At the same time the older players can be phased out over the coming years and newer players bought in.
I know it's all unknowns but this really does seem the right time for Wenger to step down and take his control away from the club.
Tweaks & the right time to go.

Wasnt saying we would be challeging for the title but the squad is good enough not to go into free fall.
Hoping for the right manager who can steady the helm and rebuild the team at the same time to get us challeging for the title again.
Wont be instant, realize that, also Wenger should no longer be purchasing players for a next manager, more reason to step down!

It's 100% the right time for him to go now. His post match comments were ridiculous. Blamed it all on the ref, and said we produced a performance with the spirit and pride we wanted! WTF! Ref wasn't great, but you can't lose 10-2 on agg, then blame the ref! Unless he walked round systematically kicking every Arsenal player in the balls each time we got possession. And pride and spirit! Ultimate joke of a comment. Went on to say we played very well, and the ref killed the game!
Both performances were truly unacceptable. He should be apologising to the fans who payed good money for that, and along with the players, take full responsibility. There is no pride and spirt in that performance. It highlights his attitude. He's arrogant, stubborn, and it's never his fault. Relegation teams get thumped less than we do by big teams. Should be Absolutely unacceptable at this club

I want my money back if I'd gone to either game

People should be asking for money back! I know every now and again, no matter how good you are, you occasionally get a thumping. But it's routine for us every year! There's no fight, half the team give up as soon as the other team score. Paying such high prices, fans don't deserve that
