Anyone else like this band? I've just started listening to them and I'm totally addicted. I was surprised to find they'd been around for over a decade. (I often get into things late. I'll probably start watching The Wire in a couple of years and expect to discover Game of Thrones circa 2025.)
What I really want to know is: are there any similar bands/artists people can recommend?

That's the thing; their sound is so unique. Balkan folk, mariachi horns, accordions, ukuleles and a touch of indie rock. Who else is doing that?!

Cheers - I keep meaning to get hold of some Neutral Milk Hotel stuff but I don't know Grizzly Bear.

The Decemberists have a similar sound to Beirut too.
