Now we will see for sure.

Well we lost a game away to Stoke, one we didnt deserve to but its still nil points. However, its the next game after a defeat that normally determines a teams character and attitude...spurs away; to me it has to be a win and nobody said it was going to be easy!!

thank goodness Gerrard is near a return... badly miss a player that can shoot from distance or at least pose a threat from outside the box.

When was the last time you picked up a point at Spurs, let alone won?

We nearly beat you there last season under Roy. Your last goal was a huge error by Konchesky.

Got to say, think spurs midfield of Bale, Lennon, VDV, Modric is very good; but Lucas, Gerarrd, Downing, Adam aint bad either.

Whilst Spurs were fortunate to win on that occasion, Liverpool definately weren't the better team.

Liverpool have simply added much-needed depth to their squad, no special players (except Suarez), nobody to get excited about, especially not at the absolutely ridiculous prices you've paid. I don't rate Adam at all tbh. Downing is alright, Lucas okay and Gerrard declining yet still very good.

Completely agree with the OP, coming out fighting after losing a game you should have won shows true character and is a good indication of how the side will fare for the rest of the season.

Yep the Tottenham game is now a must win for me.

How we didn't take anything from that game is beyond me!

Credit to Stoke who defended magnificently, but we should never have lost that. We do seem to be bearing the brunt of bad referee decisions atm, but we just have to get on with it and look to stuff Spurs, which will bring the confidence right back.

I said all along that your away record is the reason why you won't keep up with the likes of United, City and Chelsea. Make no mistake had Frimpong had not of been so stupid you'd be sitting here with a draw and defeat as your away record.

I am not in the least bit surprised Stoke beat you, they are a lot better than people think and I agree with Martin Samuel when he says they could be a dark horse for the top 4, obviously early elimination from Europe would help their cause a lot though
