Jose Mourinho in even if we don't qualifyCL

If we don't qualify for Champions League. I actually think SAF is right about being unlucky. I feel LVG deserved his final year and I think Mourinho deserves at least another season. Ed Woodward loves CL money and sponsor money so I think he will sack Mourinho if we don't win the europa league and don't get top 4 but maybe with the way we have played, SAF will advise him not to.

Its so strange this side has stats better then a lot of our title winning sides and better then any of Jose Mourinho Chelsea title winning side from shots to shots on target to shots against and against on target lol but we most likely will finish 6th or 7th. I just would love it if we finished 6th and won the Europa League as that would mean under SAF we always finished in the top 3 in the premierleague and since SAF we would have completed the set of 4th 5th 6th and 7th lol and get UEFA Supercup entry and CL group stage.

Remember that night against West Ham United felt like the end of the world but who knows that could be our saviour if we win the Europa League.

Man Utd 44 big chances missed, next most is 36 with Man City.

Man Utd hit woodwork 18 times the most again with next most being 17 with Man City.

Man Utd haven't made a single clearance off the line to say we are lucky but Everton made 7 I wonder if the handball today counts as one lol:

Official premierleague stats have us on 499 shots only 1 behind Spurs.

Because that's the type of manager you bring in if you're going to play that particular long ball/passing game.Which is what Jose is currently getting us playing.

Anyway Jose wont be here any longer if this continues.

This current unbeaten run is more of a hindrance than a help. Better to win 4 and lose 2, rather than win 2 and draw 4 (well better to win 6, but you get my drift!)

Too much over-analysis and over-complication of what is wrong - we simply aren't clinical enough and don't score enough goals. People go on about the stats, but our goals scored and league points are the most important ones, and they tell the story.

Other teams around us have had blips, lost a couple then won a couple, whilst we have simply drawn most of these games, but the net result is pretty much the same - we've moved up one place since this unbeaten run, and gained little points wise.

Controlling games is important, but it's about making the most of your chances and that's our downfall. All teams have bouts of unluckiness, but I am very wary when the 'unlucky' card is played as an excuse.

Of course Jose won't get sacked at the end of the season, but I still don't think that this looks like a proper team, rather than a group of individuals that sometimes gel and sometimes don't. I'm still not convinced that Jose knows his best team either, and the effect of Zlatan is papering over a lot of problems.

Jose will have his meltdown soon.

He's started throwing players under buses, he will lose the dressing room just as he did at Chelsea.

It's always somebody else other than him, and yet it's him..., how else do you explain the meteoritic rise of Chelsea once they'd removed the self appointed 'greatest manager in the modern game'.?

Trouble is you'll never replace the utter genius that was Fergie and you will likely now be consigned to the vicious circle of spending huge amounts of money on speculative player acquisitions, something the blue side of Manchester were criticised for, and continue to be so.

Top 4 = Stay
No top 4 but league cup & Europa win = Stay
No top 4 but league cup win = Sacked.

And who then if sacked?

This isn't a worthwhile retort. There are hundreds of managers in football and always top quality managers available. Jose isn't special.

If anything he was the easy short term quick fix option. If he doesn't offer that, get shut. Frustrating that people thinks he's got some kind of magic touch about him. In many aspects of management I think he's bang average personally. If you're asking who I'd pick, Pochettino or Simeone.

And probably at a push, Poch between the two.

We would definitely get either of them, Dave. It's not arrogant to know that.

Personally I don't think and have never thought that top 4 minimum every season and to challenge for the title regularly is too much to ask for Man Utd. The club should hold that to be the absolute minimum in my opinion.
