Walcott vs Mane vs Martial

Who is the better player?.

This season

Mane 29 games 13 goals
Walcott 32 games 19 goals.
Martial . Just put his name down as a joke. awful player

Quite clearly Theo is a better goalscorer. If injuries didn't set him back he would be one of the best players in the league. Very underrated. Mane is not consistent at all.

This is the same Jose that didn't rate Mata and KDB.

Someone actually called him a "headless chicken" . He is actually the opposite. Doesn't do a lot, but when he does get involved it usually is quite effective.

The problem with Walcott is if he doesn't score or assist them he does nothing. He has a lot of games where he only has about 20 - 30 touches.

Funnily enough I have always liked Walcott, although I think he has fallen short of expectations in terms of his International profile.

Always looked dangerous going forward when playing us, think I feared him more than any other Arsenal forward

Mane probably has more of a possitive overall effect on a team. Walcott is a bit more efficient, but won't effect the game quite as much unless he's scoring. Think Walcott gets a bit unfairly treated because of stereotypes from years ago, and the fact he hasn't become be new Henry. Like all young English players, was overrated. But injuries haven't helped. He scored in big games for us as well, so doesn't disappear. But he is ineffective in some games

All this walnut stuff is tiresome and lazy. Walcott is no world beater but as an attacking winger is one of the most productive in terms of goals around

Walcott is still trash.

He's only been potential for 11 years

Let's face it, Walcott has been at Arsenal for about 11 years and Wenger still doesn't know what his best position is.

Actually that is a fundamental misunderstanding of how Arsenal play and how Wenger buys players.

Alexis has played as striker this season and on the wing. Is that because Wenger doesn't know his position?

Walcott is multidimensional player. Thats what Wenger tries to instil in all his players. He can play up front or wide and during games thats what he does. This is because Wenger is disciple of total football. Its a strength not a weakness.

He's got a cushy number on £140k a week which I doubt any other club would be fool enough to pay him

How do you know? Arsenal NEVER release wages. Its made up.

Let's face it, Walcott has been at Arsenal for about 11 years and Wenger still doesn't know what his best position is. Walcott has periods where he seems to be on fire and Iain the scoresheet every week, he has periods where he's utterly useless, and he has periods where he's persistently injured. On balance when you even it out he has been a consistently average player for a decade now. His life at Arsenal looks to me to be a 9-5 job, rather than one of burning ambition and will to win; he's happy to coast as much as Wenger is. I mean what does Walcott really want from his life as a footballer? He's got a cushy number on £140k a week which I doubt any other club would be fool enough to pay him, football is a living for him and not much more.

yet he would walk into your club's starting line up. Would actually be your best player in history
