Lamela out Sigurdson in?

It's looking unlikely that Swansea will make the great escape this season and Lamela seems to be on his way out.

If both the former and the latter turn out to be true would the signing of Sigurdson be a good one?

I am unsure we need another centre-forward. The team scores goals with Janssen in there, even if he is not yet chipping in himself.

Priorities for me would be a good right-footed centreback, to bolster us if we go with a 3 fulltime as past oyr first 3 we look light. One of the three youngsters. I like Maguire myself from what little I have seen, the way he carries it reminds me of ours. Davies to settle here too, CCV making the six

A first-team ready attacking leftback. Rose misses quite a few games with injury. Shaw the standout for me - Poch proven. I would like Sessegnon, but would not trust him just yet. Perhaps a buy and loan too.

A replacement for Lamela in the attacking area of the squad. Barkley I like. I would like to see Lamela as an option in centre midfield myself.

We could probably go for another such as Zaha, with pace, who can play up top if he needs to.

That would be a strong squad.

I think Lamela goes and i would like to see Siggy return but i would rather we have a player that can play on the right. Would love Antonio who would fit the system, is still developing at a late age and would irritate west ham.

not Zaha i do not buy the hype at all on him. A few tricks here and there but he is not a player for us i think he would slow the teams play down with his tricks, indecision and dribbling.

Siggy is a great player would love him to return but he would only be backup for eriksen or alli relistically.

Would much rather have Lamela than Siggy

".....try to sign players that may be happy to be "Squad" players. Signing youngsters will be key as they may be prepared to wait for their chance...."

So again rely on 15 players throughout the season? Why do we want to put ourselves through that again?

With some thorough scouting we can find players to truly compete with some of those we've already got. No point in swapping current benchwarmers for brand new ones

I agree with Ledders..............................we should be getting at least TWO proven quality players and possibly one or two with potential, like Sessegnon who would be just right for further development under Poch.

I would love someone like Isco, but that is unlikely. Andre Gray is a more likely arrival, as is Zaha.

LLM....................................I liked Siggy, however he is one of yesterday's men and it rarely works bringing players back. Yes I know we did it with Keane & Klinsmann, but to be honest those teams were not in the same bracket as our current squad, were they?

Siggy is an excellent player but he wouldn't be first choice at Spurs.
He is far too good to be warming the bench at any side.

We need to imorove the squad though. By that I do not mean make the bench better, but to have players there who can come in and the first XI is still strong.

We have the PL, CL (probably), League Cup and FA Cup next season. If you progress in all you need to mix and match and not rely on 13/14 players.

I think there is room in the squad for another creative attacking midfield player, even if Lamela goes. I want quality who could come in for a PL game sandwiched by big CL games. Not necessarily Siggy, but of that ilk

*even if Lamela DOES NOT GO

Lamela out. Full stop.

If we were to swap I'd even take Charlie Adam in return.

Lamela is simply awful. Put him down..I'll supply the gun . His injury was equal to making a marquee signing.

I hope his career is over. Write off the £30m. Good riddance.

This

It's nothing personal against those in our starting XI at the moment, but I want them to feel that if they drop their performances then there's the real chance they can lose their place in the team.
