Rangers 1 v 5 Celtic

What a day, a truly fitting end to the OF games for the season if you're a Celtic fan.

In the days leading up to Saturday I stated quite clearly that this game meant nothing in the grand scheme of things, it was almost a damp squib in terms of importance. This was before we inflicted Rangers biggest OF defeat at home ever and should and could have scored double figures.

I'll start with getting the morons out the way, the guy who ran on, he'll be charged with breach of the peace most likely and get a few beers bought for him in his local. Some of the excuses trotted out about the Celtic players provoking the Rangers fans is pathetic and I'd like to think we won't see that on here.

The guy who's made the monkey gesture has already been arrested and his name plastered over social media, enjoy your life mate, it's not going to be a very good one.

Now, on to matters on the field. I thought Rangers started the game like we all expected, in our faces from the off and tried to set the tempo of the game. The problem any team face when they do this to us is the whole team needs to do it otherwise we'll break the lines and we can look quite devastating when it comes off.

The first goal comes from a young lad inexplicably sliding in when a guys facing away from goal, terrible decision but good play from Roberts.

The 2nd goal epitomised everything right with Stuart Armstrong now, absolutely bullies Hyndman off the ball and sets Griffiths on his way who lets fly into the top corner, absolute scenes when that went in

The 3rd goal is what I'm talking about when we break the lines, Roberts does terrifically well to best 3 men then slides McGregor in who actually makes a Kant of a pass but it falls to Roberts who slips him in and it's a calm finish.

4th is all about desire and Boyata who was outstanding for 90 minutes wanted it more than anyone, he actually took it off Brown's head

Rangers pulled one back with what was actually a decent goal when you watch it back, a very good move

Then, the icing on the cake. I honestly can't describe the scenes when Lustig slides that one in the bottom corner, largely due to me tumbling down 5 rows it was carnage, total bedlam and the most celebrated goal at Ibrox in my lifetime.

Saturday is a day I'll never forget and a day I'll tell my kid about, it was definetily an 'I was there that day' story.

this is how it feels to be Celtic
Champions again as you know
