What happened to this once great club? They used to be one of the strongest clubs in the world, competing for Europe’s TOP prize, and winning league titles. Now they are celebrating getting to a EUROPA LEAGUE final and hardly challenging for the league.
How did teams like Ajax get left so far behind true European giants like United, who just reached yet another European final (Get in!) and are right up there challenging in the league yet again?
I think it’s quite pathetic that a club like Ajax see winning second rate trophies and just QUALIFYING for the Champions League as a successful season. Shows how the mighty have fallen, they are no longer a top club.
Anyway, hopefully we can push on and win the Europa League and secure that all important Champions League qualification, as I think that would constitute a successful season. It will show that we are one of Europe’s top clubs.

Mourinho, full of his customary spite and complete lack of respect for his fellow coaches, made his comment on returning to Chelsea in 2013 after interim manager Rafa Benitez had guided Chelsea to winning the Europa League.
Let's now see if winning it is good enough for Manchester United. Mourinho's already said this season's been a success without the Europa League. What a joke he is.
