I was going to post this earlier but was snowed under at work.
BT Sport were getting a lot of stick on Twitter last night for milking the MEN attack, and rightly so imo.
Jake Humphrey's opening monologue with comment from Rio and Owen was fine, surprised he went to Rio first as Owen is actually from the North West as well as former United player but it's a minor detail.
I really think the overdid it and people were saying they didn't care for the constant reminders of a horrible event and wanted the final to be a form of escapism from this week's events, and I agree.
Also, in less mawkish BT Sport news...
They're going to cancel The European Football Show! Arguably the most interesting, informative, and well packaged football programme on TV which, for me anyway, has turned into a must watch programme over the course of the season, and they've got rid of it, who makes these decisions?

I never really understand Hargreaves? A co-commentator should usually be someone with a bit of character who can bring something interesting/funny to the game (like Big Ron before he went a bit racist).
Hargreaves whole thing is sound constantly constipated and say everything is incredibly. BT as a whole is pretty appalling.

Hargreaves did my head in on weds night. He can't even say "Pogba" he sounds like a misfiring engine, or a chicken! Pog-ba-cah!

Jake Humphries is an awful presenter. He just tries to be too comfortable with every pundit/guest on here and makes some sort of lame joke that you can quite clearly see isnt recieved too well. He did it once with Harry Redknapp, Stevie G, and probably others too. He should fck off back to Blue Peter. Get someone Ed Chamberlin in. Professional. Doesnt get too cosy isnt too aloof. The right combo imo.

I like Jake Humphrey to be honest, think he has worked hard to get where he is and is in a job he loves and is a proper down to earth bloke, fair play to him. The sky presenters are the ones that wind me up oh and up his own backside Lineker.

Harvreaves is woeful. No insight whatsoever, inconsistent stance on incidents, a very boring voice, and just feels like he is winging it.
McManaman is pretty similar, just cocky with it and with a less dull voice.
