Am I missing something here but united finished 6th!

Arguably the biggest club on the planet who have dropped off the face of the planet for the last 4 seasons.

We have been in crisis this season and it has been a disaster.

Mourinho has done a right number on the united fan base

Posh - if you had beaten us at the Emirates and won the remaining games you would have finished 4th so you didn't exactly give up on the league.

It's what happens when you have a Yank owner with no clue about football, along with a bunch of toffs on the board, plus a puppet chief exec. Wenger is the only man near the top of the club who has any remote interest in football, and even he seems fixated on figures and cautious spending.

Mourinho knew the best way to qualify for the champions league was to win the europa league. We didn't give up but it was always going to be the harder option once we had drawn at home to Swansea City. The Europa League games took priority around the time we played Arsenal and Spurs away as we knew it was unrealistic to win all our remaining league games and win the europa league with the injuries we had. Mourinho even said he prioritised the Europa League only due to lack of players fit.
