According to the rumour mill, Chelsea have placed a bid in the region of £35M for Alex Sandro.
If this deal goes through, it will definitely be the best signing for me, regardless of who else we sign.
If we we succeed in signing him, I think it's safe to say that Marcos Alonso will play second fiddle to him.
He will take Chelsea to another level with his trickry, pace, and strength.
In my opinion, he's almost on the same level with Marcelo and Dani Alves.
Chelsea will be so formidable on the counter if we can make this signing a reality.
Thoughts?

i wouldnt we need balance, its not all about attacking football
hes not great at defending and plays in a weaker league
Alonso is better for the team

Alex Sandro on the left in a 352 system with Morata and Costa spearheading the attack with Cesc in the hole being supported by Kante and Bakayoko. The dream.

Forgot about Hazard
Hazard centrally behind the 2 strikers then. Honestly couldn't see Conte finding a regularly starting place for Cesc anyway.
Azpi at RWB isn't ideal on paper but I remember hearing somewhere that Moses wasn't in Contes long term plans for that RWB role and he much preferred Azpi there but had no other CBs to play in the 343 system.
