england couldn't even beat the poor scots the other week for shame

A tour is multiple extra games for those involved and could only be every other summer. I think a one off conference All Star game is a better option. Though that's useless in terms of a Lions type scenario.

I think the only way the Lions thing could work in football is if it was U21s. Not seeing the clubs standing for multiple summer games every year and there's nowhere in the season to put them due to National team fixtures. Think it would be a great way to bring younger talent through the international ranks.

We had a version for the Olympics.

No Scots were selected.

I was delighted about that.

And delighted when the team got pumped out.

You can see the difference in a lot of players in seasons after internaional tournaments and seasons where there arent any. Yet you think adding extra summer games which would probably mean they dont get an summers off is a good idea. A lot of payers would burn out a lot younger as they would never get a decent break.

Would prefer a Great Britain side tbh.

Understand others don't, but I would.
