Crash Bandicoot / Micro Machines

My Mrs bought me the re-mastered Crash trilogy and the new Micro Machines games at the weekend, because she wanted to play them herself.

She's been at work on 13.5 hour shifts since so I've been playing them a fair bit

Forgot how frustrating Crash was, and seems harder if anything especially on some of the more challenging sections and levels.

Micro Machines I've not played as much, and not done any of the 'battle' type events, but online racing is pretty good fun!

Anyone else picked up these, or planning to?

I'm not usually one for buying into old games, but I must admit I've enjoyed it so far.

Maybe Spyro will be next...

With great pleasure (and several angry neighbours) I can say that I've just done 'Road to Nowhere'!!

Was hoping that was the hardest, but this slippery climb sounds worse.

Which was the crash with the baby panda bear? I spent weeks on that as a kid.

That's the 2nd one

Remember to jump on him ten times when you see him in the warp room, you get extra lives

Right slippery soap and lights out down, I swear this game was never this hard when I was about 19. I'm nearly 41 now and my previous Jedi like reflexes have deserted me.

I either channelled my younger self or I got very lucky but I found lights out to be surprisingly straight forward, only lost 2 lives on it and they were on simple parts (in the light) through my own lack of care.

Did a "work from home" yesterday and coincidentally found some time for crash

Thought slippery climb wasn't too bad but hadn't realised there was another level based on a mountain pass called the high road! I've never been so anti-turtle

100% is almost impossible. Completed the first, I just don't understand how to get all the boxes on some levels. Are there hidden paths? What are those holographic platforms and how do I unlock them?

I've 100% done the first.

Finished the second and third now but cant be arrsed to 100% them. Nice game to keep in the collection though for replay value.

I never really liked Crash Bandicoot at the time and don't think its that good now.
