The transfer rumour mill is working overtime, linking Man City with every Tom, Diyck and Harry.
Or in this case, every Cengiz, Sergi and Pepe.

Apparently, the Blues have launched bids for each of those players but so far, without success.

Interestingly, Turkish Football report City have been in talks with Basaksehir over a potential move for ‘wonderkid’ and alleged United target Cengiz Under.

Emre Sarigul reports: “The talks took place in Istanbul however, a deal has yet to be reached.

“Basaksehir vice-president Mustafa Saral revealed that City have yet to match their asking price.

“The Istanbul giants are unwilling to budge on their €10 million valuation.

“Under has another four-years remaining on his current deal and his club believe his price will continue to rise next season.

“City could end up facing competition from rivals Manchester United.

“The 2016-17 runners-up would be open to selling Under to City if their valuation is met and if they agree to loan him back to the club next season.

Finally, the reported interest in Pepe has now come to an end, after the Portuguese international signed a two-year deal with Besiktas.

A TalkSPORT article reads: “It was suggested that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola had been hoping to add the experienced 34-year-old to his squad but Besiktas have sealed Pepe's signature.

“It has been reported that the Super Lig winners will pay Pepe an annual salary of £8.3m plus an extra £3,500 every time he plays."
