Deal agreed in principle......

With Iehnacho from Man City. Fee could rise to £25m, fee agreed between clubs, player is keen to come to us....... the only things to sort out are the buy back clause and an issue of image rights between the player and his former agent. Hopefully these are only small bumps in the road to getting him signed.

I know the majority of us have been excited at the prospect of him joining and now it looks like its happening I feel its another great piece of our jigsaw fitting into place.

We all debated who might come in and I know our old much maligned and missed on here colleague BS was critical of our scouting network and thought we would be buying from abroad and ignoring players with PL experience.

We so far we have...

Maguire - Stand out player for Hull last season as they were relegated and a number of top clubs were looking at him.

Iborra - Player with immense experience, Europa league winner and Captain of one of the top teams in Spain.

Now Iehnacho - Young, Fast, made a great impression with Man City but isn't going to get in the team ahead of Aguero or Jesus, knows where the goal is.

So as far as I am concerned these are 3 quality players and our transfer window has been as successful as any of us could have wished. Great work by Shakey and all the guys behind the scenes and the owners in backing him.

Long may it continue, oh and as for £50m for Gylffi, Everton are welcome to him for that price. He is a very good player but not a £50m player.

Wonder how JG is feeling about his toys that left his pram now?

I think Nacho will improve our squad. Does this mean that we'll lose one of our current strikers? My money would be on Ulloa.

I like Gylfi, but £50m sounds a lot even in the current market. I'd also love to see us sign an attacking midfielder or no. 10. It would be interesting to see what we could find elsewhere on the continent. Ok they wouldn't be PL proven, but would probably be about half the cost of GS. Would it be worth trying Tom Lawrence in the no. 10 role?

Good transfer window so far but, being greedy, I'd still like an attack minded RB who'd give us the flexibility to play 4-2-3-1 and, should he go, a Mahrez replacement. Then I might be happy.

Top top talent this boy. What a coup if we pull this off for 20-25m
Exciting partnership with Vardy. Bring it on. Can't wait for the new season

Shoo Tottenham, shoo!

In other news, Everton sources linking them with Vardy up here.

Maybe we won't have either next season 😳

A totally one footed striker with limited potential, about right for Leicesters level

You know when you make a comment and it comes back to bite you on the behind...... well you win this weeks prize.
So your manager thinks he is a good fit for your squad too, totally one footed - limited potential and he is at your level!!!!

Maybe hold fire next time

Mersey - Vardy turned down Arsenal last season. He isn't going to Everton.

Everton are much more ambitious than Arsenal now though Dunge 😉

Taking a while this one, rumours that he's lost a court case regarding image rights which is delaying this. The longer it goes on the change over teams have of hijacking the deal.

The longer it goes on the more chance other teams have of hijacking the deal***

Not sure YH - apparently Ichy is very keen to come here to be with NDidi and Musa (while he's still here) who are his Nigerian team mates.

I don't think he's really interested in signing for anyone else by all accounts.

Looks like a done deal
So long as his old agents can have the contract brought off them for his rights,
Obviously he's received some bad advice somewhere along the way or his new agents didn't apply
Due diligence when signing him up,
If the old agents wont budge then the new agents who are brokering the move will have no permission to do so,
I can see his old agents digging in as I wouldn't want to lose him off my books,
Which could mean Manchester & Leicester negotiating with his old agent from scratch,
Technically his old agents are his agent's
This could get very messy
