New Season ... Same old Story !!

Yep I must admit it was a mirror image of last season.

We looked good for first thirty five mins and last 15.

Defensively for the most part all good but Hutton I guess at fault? for goal.

Hogan looks useful he needs service and on that one game he wont get it from Whelan on his own,

Bacuna should be sold, Samba upfront was embarrassing really.

We need Kodja back Gabby wont trouble too many teams

Hourihane must have a part to play big time and I like Green.

Got grave doubts over us going up but its only one game.

Spot on. There were improvements. Overall better than last season. But we could and should have killed that game off. Once again we let the opposition back into it after half time.

Don't understand Bruce. Why play Bacuna, what's more an unfit Bacuna, when he had Green, Hourihane and Bjarnason sitting on the bench? Why pull off Hogan when Gabby had blown up? Why stick Samba on as a forward? He really should have had Davis and RHM on the bench.

Not too worried about Hogan's misses; think he's still getting his match sharpness back and he will get better. Gabby at least looks much fitter and chases down everything, but can't last 60 minutes; nice goal though.

Pity this team (minus Bacuna) wasn't played in pre-season. Another 4 league matches this month; by the end we should know better where we are. Hope Bruce doesn't start chopping and changing; he needs to give this team a run.
