That's how to get all those attack minded players into a team, all extremely comfortable on the ball and if the opposition can't get the ball it's hard to score goals.

A more defensively stable team can be used later on in games, but not in the 20th minute once we're 1-0 up like certain managers tend to do.

You wont win anything without a Fernandinho type player. Teams will get at your defence way too easily and if Kompany wasn't fit which he never is then you would be in 3rd or 4th at best.

City definitely going to be the most entertaining team again though. All out attack with backdoor wide open.

I'm not sure Pep knows any other way or he probably does but is too stubborn to change.

Pretty much sums it up.

Even Barca and Madrid play with a DM and they have a breeze most games.

City won't win the title with David Silva and KDB in a midfield two most games. You'd be way too soft and open.

Swap in the less talented Fernandinho to mop up and you'd be strong favs for the title which you should be anyway.

Inclined to agree with Eric (yikes!)

This line up for bottom half of table and for top half teams swap Fernandinho in for KDB (when he's being rested) or one of the Silvas.

For the good teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and CL I'd be tempted to shore up with 2 DMs.

But then, as Komi says, that's not Pep's way!

KDB seems to be the one City attacking player who is immune to rotation. He should score big numbers this season so he's the best bet
