"I'm falling out of love with football"

Here's a tissue, wipe your tears and feck off. Nobody cares that you don't like football any more. This is a football forum, if you don't like it stop posting about it.

Go watch ballet or something. Anybody that say's something along these lines needs to get a grip. I understand your disgust at some of the figures being thrown around but if you feel the need to post something like the above then put the lap top down, let go of the rope and go follow curling instead of posting your emo feelings on here. If you genuinely don't like the way it's going, just stop watching.

Personally, I have a boner. THE PREMIER LEAGUE IS BACK BOYS.

Nothing better.

Played Rashy. It's like it's the "in" thing to say nowadays.

Are appreciation of footy and ballet mutually exclusive? I mean, come on, who dosn't like a bit of Bolshoi in the evening after a match in the afternoon?

OP

I know exactly who you are aiming this at. He should give up his season ticket that he keeps telling everyone
about.

An utter drama queen.

People don't seem to realise where all this money in the game is coming from - it's their own back pockets. You don't like it, that's fair. But you should also be prepared to rip up your season ticket, cancel your tv subscription and burn all your merchandise.

VC actually wasn't aiming it at anyone but I've seen several comments like this from several people. I find it pathetic.

I've probably said similar things of late, tbf. I think it's the, what feels like, 24/7 barrage you get of football these days that irks a little. And the apparent fascination with the smallest things related to "Premier League (tm)" - not really the game itself so much, just all the bloody raz-ma-taz that surrounds it, trying to sell me a branded fecking pencil sharpener and everything else.

Just that really.

I am falling out of love with football and I have given up my season ticket.

Struggling to get excited about this season even though I think we might do well.

I'll still watch us on TV, unless we sign this ridiculous shirt sleeve sponsorship deal with Tinder – that might be the last straw (no pun intended) for me. Tinder will mean the end of love.

It's kind of like saying I'm falling out of love with cinema because today 100's of millions are spent on blockbusters

I hardly ever go to the cinema.
