I just bought a GMC Sierra 2500 a few months back, you would never think your in a pick up, feels more like Escalade or Range Rover, feckin has gussler though $80 to fill up

No. It's just different to how it used to be. Life evolves. I'd much rather watch teams playing some of the quality football they play now than the kick-and-rush long ball crap from 25 years ago.

I wouldn't necessarily say Sky have ruined it, more like the money has - there's now too much of it around at the very top level. Pay top footballers a good wage yes, make money from merchandise and sponsorship but it's just the sheer, ridiculous amounts of money involved at the top that is ludicrous and it keeps getting inflated every year which then gets passed down to the fans in the form of increased costs. When's it going to stop? Will it stop or at least plateau? Will there even be some sort of economic collapse within the sport?

Sky are the reason for the money. It's them that's pumped it in to cause it to be like this.

Sky has been fantastic for football in this country.
The average quality of squads, stadiums and facilities has improved beyond anything that could have previously been conceived.
Just look at clips on YouTube, even if grounds like Old Trafford in the early 90s to see what I mean. More mud than grass and hoofball galore.
