as for the fight, I think the difference in skill is going to make the actual fight look like a comedy show when it starts

McGregor's team reckon he'll weigh in about 15lbs heavier than Mayweather, would surely be a very odd strategy for someone who's never boxed before to come in heavy and not necessarily quick against an elite fighter? Or is that him admitting he can't live with the boxing skills and just hopes to take him out with one clean shot?

If that is true he is gona be well and truelly fecked after 2rds

15lbs is a lot to back back on in the time. there is only so much hydration and food you can carry and he's not going to be building muscle in a day. I reckon McGregor will have some tactics to utilise the MMA skills he has. Mayweather is a dirty fighter but that wont bother McGregor. I'm thinking he may back off constantly and go in for fast attacks when he sees the opportunity. It could catch Mayweather off guard a bit. A big factor wll obviously be if McGregors chin can take the power of a boxer, even one that has come out of retirement for the fight.

I am finding myself wanting a McGregor win. Not because I like MMA, I dont watch it, but because the boxing world has been extremely arrogant about this fight. It would do them good to be humbled a bit. PAulie got knocked down by McGregor, if he could do that to Mayweather as well......

That 20-second clip doesn't necessarily represent how the entire sparring went though does it? Yes it certainly looked like a knockdown to me but who's to say that Malinaggi didn't school him for the most of it and therefore verify the 'arrogance' of the boxing world?

To be honest I find that whole arrangement odd to say the least. From bad-mouthing him to sparring with him?

Can see it being a really sloppy/messy fight as Mayweather will look to clinch in the inside, and McGregor's lack of technique everywhere else will make it ugly.

Can see a lot of disappointed people come tomorrow.

Was never about the fight for me was just about the event and sepectacle and comedy build up, been worth it regardless

Mcgregor win will just be the ice to the cake
