He's not, Walker is underrated by non Spurs fans so I expect this kind of talk tho

And he's overrated by spurs fans before he decided to leave. Walker is tougher and faster than Aurier, but everything else Aurier is a significant upgrade.

Does he have much pace on him?

Looks pretty rapid on the old highlight reel. A powerful, quick runner

Good to know. We've needed some more pace

Auriers is still better tho.
His nationality was a deciding factor for pep too, probably.

He bought Walker because he's good enough not because he's English

I'm not denying that first bit.

He did say how he wants to bring more English players in so probably a combo of the two things.

Way I see it....
Gazaniga and Pau. Meh
CCV is nowhere near ready yet. Foyth will at worst be equal to him, but may be an improvement. Plus we still actually have CCV
Sanchez would appear to be better than Wimmer. In addition to this it addreses a squad weakness - Dier was our only option at RCB in a 3, as well as the only cover for Vic. We now have more flexibility, as well as a potential XI improvement.
Walker was proven for us at RB, and it will be hard to replace him. This boy Aurier would appear to tick the boxes though, and Poch does seem to ge the best from his fullbacks.
Barkley if it happens is a massive improvement on Onomah. Plus we still actually have Onomah
