With reference to the person recently banned from PP for making public comments on Twitter about Billy Sharp's deceased baby boy.
Never understood this 'ban for life' thing. If someone were to buy Jordan Byrne a ticket fo a match at Pride Park or any other ground, who would then get him kicked out in say 2 years time when this episode has largely been forgotten about.?
Will a picture of his deplorable face be prominately displayed at the club for the rest of his life, so if he does show up, he can be instantly ejected by security.?
Will a picture of him appear in the machday programme, so that Derby fans will recognise him in the future.?
I think the ban for life thing is paying lip service to the incident itself and is a pretty pointless, unenforcable gesture from the Club.
I'd have preferred to see the scrote get locked up for what is essentially an harassment / alarm / distress offence, for which he could receive a prison sentance.
Sends out the right message to other idiots who think that making such awful comments publically, is acceptable.

When you are banned from a property you can then get done for trespassing or breaking and entering which then will lead to obviously a criminal charge.

The club had to be seen to act, I can never understand these keyboard warriors, why type something you'd never have the balls to say to his face. Sad thing is I'm sure it's not the first time I've heard this happen to Sharp.

Any decent supporter wouldn't buy this nasty piece of work a match day ticket. I wonder if the stewards / police have a list of faces to look out for.

Tilly, that's a lovely thought but I very much doubt it, sadly!
As has been said the club have been seen to take action but in reality he'll be watching the Rams, particularly away, in no time at all.
I agree that the Police should take more appropriate action agains this amoeba.

Whilst the "joke" was clearly grossly offensive, that's all it was, just the ill thought out rambling of a moron. Frankie Boyle has said worse things in his stand up gigs and hasn't been universally chastised for it.

I'm puzzled by who "Tilly" of the lovely thought is?

Richmond Ram's daughter. He had 3 (?) kids and they occasionally post on their dads behalf?

Not to be a stalker or anything but I think it's two sisters (of which Tilly is the younger and went/goes to Uni in Nottingham) a brother (Tom?) and a German half-brother?
I seem to recall that their mother was a police officer and that they always used to hoist a giant Rams flag at Glastonbury. Used to have the craic with Richmond on the BBC 606 but we butted heads over Clough something rotten.
Good bloke, sadly missed, but his kids do his account proud
