Anyone else been invited to join Amazon's new social media platform 'Catch it' ?
I have no social media presence and can therefore only assume That is why i have been invited to join. They are making it out to be really exclusive (for the moment) and encouraging people to be among the first to sign up ahead of its going live release in October.
Iv tried looking online but can find very little about it,however this goes along with the tone of the e mail I received inviting me which really plays on the exclusivity / top secret theme.
And no, it's not a scam. It's deffo from Amazon.

I wouldn't want to 'catch it', whatever 'it' is.

RDD
When you get sent something that is 'exclusive' or 'you have been selected' it is usually a scam with nothing to show at the end of it.
Amazon advertise everything they do pretty much. If you can't find this in their website, be very wary.

It's legit. Only iPhone customers have been invited so far I believe as there is an app in the app store for it. Not yet one for Android. There won't be any purchase history or bank details etc. Basically they want free advertising from people posting their interests, reviews and photos etc. whilst advertising their products according to the interests you've given them upon signing up.
In summary it's more spying in order to make money. If stay clear.
