PES 18

PES was a fantastic game 11 years ago, but FIFA has dominated since.

If we didnt have online on game consoles then i think PES would find it easier to get those glory days back. However as there is online football i think they will struggle.

The reason i say that is because most people want to be able to play with their mates. They wont buy PES cause they think their mates will buy FIFA.

You do have a point here .... I dont think many reasonable people will deny that PES has the gameplay everything else is better thro FIFA. Im lucky that pretty much anyone that I play with are all PES players.

My mate summed it up perfectly FIFA is better than PES in every way right up until the ref blows the whistle to start a game!

Ive bought a couple of the recent additions of PES. I like the gameplay. I found it more enjoyable than FIFA.

But other than Become a Legend i thought the modes were boring. Master League felt worse than what i remember. I dont play FUT so wont play My Club.

Hey all..i buy both and have done for years now..but i really dont get how anyone can see fifa is more realistic.. fifa is fun but sometimes the animations are shocking..n u see a lot more of the same goals on fifa than you do on pro evo..played demo over wkend and am really impressed..its so smooth and very responsive. Feel that on pro evo i can do wot i want with the ball whereas on fifa i feel very limited. Gameplay is tons better on pes but fifa has the career mode and licenses..if pes has the online sorted finally..it will be the best football game to date in my opinion.

And I've already pre-ordered PES

Demo is really good, the pitch looks weird though, not like grass. Also it annoys me how they never have commentary on their demos.

I must have played a different game last year then. Cos pro was terrible imo

For me, the PES demo is fairly bad. Way too easy to score and the gameplay is jusy too arcade-y. Fifa this year for me!

Pes 2017 had it's faults but the gameplay combined with the in game tactical additions <advanced tactics>, made for a great game. Far more in depth gameplay than the formulaic FIFA.

The demo and an the online demo have taken the 2018 version to new heights.

FIFA monkeys should give it a try if gameplay is important to you in a football game.
