Arsenal lose 4-0 to Liverpool and all the rival fans laugh about how **** Wenger and our team are, all the pundits and the media make a massve inquest into it and they all talk about how Arsenal are in crisis and are in a downward spiral.
Liverpool lose 5-0 to City and, while rival fans laugh at how s**** Liverpool and their defence are, and pundits criticise the defence, there's not the same inquest. Klopp is still apparently one of the greatest managers in the world and Liverpool still apparently have one of the best attacks in the world, and while everyone has written them off as title rivals, no one has written them off as top 4 contenders.
I don't get it.

I think the fact that the thrashing Liverpool received yesterday was a result of a game overshadowed by a red card and was clearly a false result in terms of quality on the field.
The thrashing Arsenal received at Anfield just underlined the major problems at Arsenal at the moment. The lazy, moaning players that do not have the desire to play for the club like Sanchez and Ozil. The fans all know it, its been a sinking ship at Arsenal for the last 5 years nearly now whereas I'd be sure the Liverpool defeat yesterday was certainly just a one off game if nothing else. The defence of Liverpool has come under as much scrutiny as the problems at Arsenal over the last few seasons as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can't use the red card as an excuse. I remember in 2001/2002 we were down to 10 men early at Anfield the game was 0-0 at the stage and we still won 2-1, also few seasons ago we were 1-0 up against Spurs, down to 10 men, they then went 2-1 up but we still got a point out of the game.
I also think the media have overhyped Liverpool far far too much, they've not won anything productive for a long time yet everyone thinks they are an amazing team whereas Arsenal are in a "crisis"
-----------------------------------------------------
Liverpool finished in the top 4 last season with what was arguably the worst squad and starting team of any of the top 6 last season imo. Just shows how far Klopp's team has come over the last 12 months, developing well and the players are improving drastically as well. Whereas you look at Arsenal and they are falling backwards year on year.

Liverpool had no Europe last season and were only playing 1 game a week, in fact so many Liverpool fans were believing you would win the title last season because of how you done against the big clubs but you only just scrapped 4th in the end. Despite Arsenal "allegedly" being in a crisis we've still won 3 Fa Cups in 4 years. I still fancy us to finish above Liverpool.

This is just drivel.
Barely any Liverpool fans thought we would win the title last season.
There is no 'alleged' about Arsenal being in crisis. It's obvious. The fact you have won some cups doesn't change that.
Please put money on Arsenal finishing above Liverpool.

Tbf, a club has to be relegated from the PL in order to win the Football League Championship. I think Liverpool's record of 18 will stand for a long time yet.

Well United have won lots of trophies, but when it comes to PL trophies its 13. Most people count English championships these days in PL trophies, as thats the big one to win.

There we have precisely what I mean about pool fans. In terms of the modern game and PL ALL of them have more titles than pool. Yes you were the biggest club in the country for many years but that is the club history. In PL terms pool are nothing but a large club whose best is a 2nd place flukes by virtue of not being good enough to play European football.
