Like every other Leeds fan, I am really exited and optimistic about our chances of promotion this year. Was at ER on Saturday and can honestly say one of the best performances there for many a year.
Now we all have to deal with the old saying "Im prepared for the dissapointment, its the hope that kills you".
For the first time in years I feel like we have something to lose, this season. Many of us, including me, have approached each season with more pessimism than optimism and an expectancy that things would not go well. Even last season I just couldnt see us getting over the line with the Monk/Cellino factor.
Now we have to accept the fact that there are no more excuses for failure. Great owner, good manager, great team and all fans on board, and for the first time in ages I feel the thrill of being genuinely in the mix.
Great times ahead... Im filled with hope, and I wouldnt want it any other way.
This is what being a Leeds fan should be like!!

Spot on - couldn't agree more. Last year we would have stumbled against 'smaller' clubs like Burton. When was the last time we scored so freely, without conceding? Could go top if we do Brum tomorrow!

Even if we can't sustain our performance enough to stay in the auto positions, with this team I would be more confident in the playoffs than I would have been last year.
Having said that, we're going up as effing champions!!!!
