A routinely comfortable win for us at the weekend with the main highlight being the return of the main man Dembele, a scoring return too. Thought he played well all round tbh, slightly rusty but imo ready to start the game on Saturday. I'd start him on bench Weds and give him the last half hour.
Will be interesting to see what BR does with both team selections this week. For me, here are my team lineups;
v Dundee;
Gordon
Ralston Simunovic Bitton Tierney
Ntcham Armstrong
Forrest McGregor Sinclair
Griffiths
v Rangers;
Gordon
Lustig Simunovic Bitton Tierney
Brown Armstrong
Roberts Rogic Sinclair
Dembele
2 big games, then another to follow in Belgium on the Weds!! Hearing they have just sacked their manager so they will have the new manager bounce which is annoying.
Thoughts on performance on Sat? btw I'm still to be convinced by Ralston. He doesn't look great on the ball at all and his technique needs improving big time. He's a good defender and absolute unit of a boy, fit as a fiddle too but not entirely sure about him yet, I know he's only 18 etc.

Celtic fans are happy with a player who is only available for 50% of their league games.
I think some folk are being a wee bit tribal here and if they looked at things objectively they'd be asking questions about his sporadic involvement too.

You'd be desperate to have him at United

Of course I would. He's a terrific player.
When he plays.
Which is around half the time.

Boyata is in the squad for Dundee

I would stick with Bitton for the Ibrox game
I thought he was excellent on Saturday
Ibrox isn't a venue to be seeing where people are in terms of fitness and development, especially if you're a defender
Play him on Wednesday but I would say keep Bitton for the Ibrox game

I've decided to look at the stats for Rogic from last season, since apparently he had sorted out his fitness issues last term.
I only looked at the league games and took these stats from the Celtic website.
Starts - 14
90 minutes completed - 7
Appearances as a sub - 6
This season he has played 3 out of 6 and (I think) completed 90 minutes each time he has played.
Honest question - is that good enough?

Rogic is exceptional on his day
That position in the team works on a bit of a rotation basis so it's not easy to get a start or indeed stay on for the 90
But I would think most people's first choice is for rogic To play
He's definitely upto it with regards fitness now , that hasn't always been the case
Love watching him when he's on song

I'd say that is fit enough.
Does he suit a 4-3-3? I'd say no
4-2-3-1 as the CAM yes. Then it comes down to tactics and what teams we are laying. For example a team that will attack us maybe we'd prefer an Armstrong or a McGregor who will go box to box all day. Playing a team that sits in deep with 10 men behind the ball then a Rogic is ideal as he has the footwork and burst of pace to get through tight defences
It's nice having a big squad where we can pick players based on tactics. You should try it instead of being jelly

I agree with Bitton let him play against Dundee from the start and if we are a few up bring on boyata

I'm not feeling it with this lad Ntcham. He seems a bit over-rated.

Ahh a person who has judged him on the first half of the PSG game
Did you watch the Astana games ?
Nah thought not .
What about PR7 ,rate him ?

Ivan's football judgement is presenting itself as a jelly bear. Very telling
No mention of ANY DU players as they are so bad they wouldn't even get in the Rangers team
