What an absolutely fantastic result
Everyone, not just Celtic fans but those ones desperate to inject some negativity to Rodgers reign at Celtic said we will only be judged in Europe. Well stick last night in your pipe and smoke it lads.
Everything about last night pleased me, the maturity in our discipline, the way we defended as a team, the way we attacked as a team and how confident we were on the ball (bar the first 20 minutes). That was arguably one of our finest away performances in Europe, there are no easy games at this level and to go to the Belgian Champions home and win 3-0 speaks volumes for this team and where we are going.
Standouts for me were KT, Sinclair, Jozo and Boyata. No one really had a bad game overall.
As for Ntcham, for a 21 year old to have that much of a stinker in the first half and still demand the ball at that level showed amazing self belief. He knew he was having a Munson but he stuck at it and Rodgers keeping him on helped us win the game, he was terrific 2nd half and also had a massive hand in 2 of our goals. That ball for the first Sucker for a slipped in inside ball.
That result last night should pretty much see us though to the Europa League unless somehow miraculously Anderlecht pick up a point against PSG, can't see it though surely.
Back to basics now and Hibs on Saturday is a sell out, should be a cracking atmosphere now and a win puts us into the International break in a wonderful position.
These are the days

I had to listen to the game on radio Scotland last night and didn't see the game until after it had finished. We sounded poor in the first half listening to the commentary, and having watched the full game it's fairly accurate. We did improve after the goal, especially in the second half.
The result was the most important thing last night, but we grew into the game and it was an excellent result, if not our best performance.
Our defence was really good, and our midfield got better as the game went on-possibly with the exception of Rogic.
Our front 3 all scored, again without them producing their best performance.
Anderlecht are clearly not at their best, but I think they have a decent home record in Europe and that was a fantastic result for us.
