Walker - Pace merchant. Can't put in a decent cross to save his life
Stones - £50m flop
Otamendi - worst defender in the PL
Delph - Not played much so has been largely shielded from fans onslaught
Fernandinho - overated
de Bruyne - Decent
Silva - Decent
Sterling - £50m flop usually followed by
Jesus - unknown quantity but some called him Robinho mk 2
Sane - unknown to most fans.
From the above list, there are no outstanding players before they joined City.
There are no £80m players. Just players who fit the managers profile for his type of game.
Together, they are fast becoming a fearsome team not just in the PL but also across Europe.
So do fans of other clubs still consider Pep a fraud?
NB: I don't care whether we win the PL or not this season. But with the way we are playing, it's only a matter of time before the trophies follow.
