I want to ask you to give this article 1 star if you think calling us goons should be banned. We've been stopped from calling them sp uds and ch avs so have to work around it but they are free to insult us.
The "er" at the end makes all the difference.
I would prefer we can use these names for our London neighbours and the mods can ban anyone who is genuinely nasty, but at the moment I feel it is one rule for them and one for us.
Unfair treatment on here

So if it's an insult, then why do so many Arsenal fans have 'go.on' somewhere in their username?

That sounded fairly argumentative, wasn't mean't to be, sorry.

Gooner and gooner are different.

1 star for banned given all the 1- bandits on this site - nice one
Joking aside, we re-act to complaints. If you see a term you are offended by, make a complaint. Enough of these from distinct users will likely result in the phrase being added to the list of banned words.

To follow up my previous comment, 'g00n' and 'g00nies' are already in the banned word list due to complaints.

So youve banned it with 0's but not with o's.
As I said personally I would prefer all are allowed and we can have a bit of banter. If I dont like anyone enough I will filter them (like Im thinking of doing with Chronic, the sp ud wum - couldn't resist)

I am G00ner,
Are you trying to WUM me! I had to use 0's as the filter rules apply to us Admins too.
