After the debacle today at Hampden with 10,000 empty seats with Hibs unable to sell their allocation, here’s how it ensure it never happens again
Make each team ADVANCE PURCHASE their allocation from the SFA/SPFL they believe they can sell.
If they sell them the their costs are covered and they’ll then receive their usual dues.
If they overestimate the number then they will be held responsible for the financial shortfall. It will be deducted from their share of the pot and it won’t be diluted via distributing over the 4 semi-finalist or two finalists
Will make clubs think before demanding a 50/50 split in future 👍
