Don't know whether to laugh or cry

Let's be positive and hope it's a repeat of last season's game.

Spurs look very good though at the moment so i think we might be up against it the way we're playing.

We had Pogba in that game and Herrera wasn't playing like the caaaant he is this season.

It's actually got to the stage where I'd welcome Fellaini in the team.

It was Pogbas best game of the first half of the season. Probably the first one he looked like the player we expected.

Jose says he doesn't know when he's back, so next weekend is unlikely.

People love to slag off Pogba but he's a huge miss for us. Even if he's not at his best he's still better than anyone we have at linking midfield and attack.

Even with Pogba I felt our midfield would be a peoblem for us going into this season. Without him it gets shown up quite badly.

We don't have a replacement which is the huge issue, for a player who does pick up a few injuries it's amateurish. Same goes for a few positions.

Sorry, confused Spurs and Liverpool. Don't recall is parking the bus at home to Liverpool first half either though.

Thought we were defensive in that game. Came out second half and played much better.

Fellaini Matic and Herrera in a midfield 3 versus Spurs?

I'd drop Mata and Miki and play Rashford and Martial either side of Lukaku. We can't afford to have a pansy in the team next week. Mata n Miki are just soft and aren't playing well anyway.

Play direct and to our strengths. Fellaini has had joy in this fixture before. He's not someone they like to deal with.

There is absolutely not a chance in hell Jose is going to start Rashford and Martial against Spurs.

We might see something like:

I think the emphasis on engaging the opposition's midfield is important in getting us a foot hold and higher up the pitch. We've also looked much better with two players pushing onto the opposition and one in behind, rather than having two midfielders sat in front of the opposition with a #10 attempting to drop back in.

It's a subtle different that seems to have a big impact for us. We're too easily boxed in when we play 4-2-3-1. It's just too 'stand off-ish' in the middle of the park.

I was just posting what I'd expect Jose to do.

We better not park the bus against Kane FC at Old Trafford. They have an appalling record against us under MoPo at OT. We should be winning this game.
