Cant believe the partygate fines, a new low with regards to trust in the justice system

As disgusting as it is that the senior officials were able to wrangle out of fines (probably because they could afford better legal advice) while the junior staff carry the can... Boris will now be able to fight on and lose the next election spectacularly
Just hope he doesn't fack too much up in the meantime

Rishi Sunak has become the first ever frontline politician to appear in the Sunday Times rich list since it's inception in 1989, with an estimated wealth of £730m.
Makes you wonder why he's so desperate to keep a job that earns a measly £125k a year.

It sounds like a mob trial. ‘Yeah the bosses and mid level guys make bail, but the low level guys are looking at doing time’

Even more proof that he has no grip on the reality of real hardship that many people are going to be facing over the next 6 months

Does anyone know if the Sue Gray report is going to cover the government’s response to the allegations about law-breaking at Downing Street and elsewhere?
I understand why people are upset about the parties, but the greater ‘crime’ for me, by far, was the lies and lies and lies they told about the events (or supposed lack thereof).

So it seems Musk tweeting about becoming a Republican and how political attacks were coming for him now, was simply him getting ahead of a story where he sexually harassed a SpaceX flight attendant and then paid her £250K to keep quiet.

They reached out to him for a comment on the story and then the very next day he went on his Twitter spree
