They shall not grow old
As we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them
Nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We WILL remember them
Let we forget, they gave their tomorrows so that we could have our today.
For The Fallen

I don't wear a poppy, not for any particular reason I just don't but anyone who can't keep their mouth shut for 2 minutes at 11am today should take a wee wander around the war graves in Northern France and Belgium, see the numbers and ages of the men on the markers, a truely humbling experience.

Watching the service from the Cenotaph. Poignant and moving, as always. Next year will be quite something with the 100th anniversary falling on Remembrance Sunday

I think this "Remembrance Sunday" was the beginning of 11/11/11 losing significance with younger generations.
Once thank-you politicians.
Why is it not convenient to show respect at the proper time for the fallen?
The War To End All Wars
Respect to all who suffer because of war; a pox on the bastirt politicians, and the bastirt profiteers who live on other folks deaths.
Show it's always the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month here. I suppose the home of the empire has better things to do at that time tho.
