What did Sissoko do to make him our best player. All I saw was a player who cannot control the ball, can run with the ball but has no end product except a hit and hope cross or a 2 yard sideways pass. He also creates
nothing.

I'm not saying he was excellent, but he made some good runs and did hold the ball up well for the most part. He's shown signs that he's slowly improved this season.

It seems an odd time to call him out for being rubbish when Chicken could have done this article at any point last season.

He can run with the ball, down the right flank but he can't cross worth a damn. I counted one good cross all game.
Why is he chosen?
Because he's big and athletic and can bully people, which is what was needed against the Arsenholes.

We shouldn't be picking the worst player in our squad to bully the opposition. Since when did we become a team like West Brom or Stoke?

To be fair, Sissoko had a decent game by Sissoko's standards but let's not confuse this with a good performance in general terms. When he kicks the ball you'd think he was playing on a bobbley field over Hackney marshes.

As I said before, Poch is a quality manager but he does insist on playing a "best 10" + the worst player on our books.
