Big week ahead for the board

After yet another dismal defeat and performance, you have to say that the board are entirely responsible for the current mess.

They hired Pedro, gave him cash and sanctioned his moves in the transfer market, then pulled the plug on other moves when we got embarrassingly pumped out of Europe, leaving us woefully short in certain areas.

Then they sacked Pedro, leaving a squad of players with no direction and an inexperienced stand in in Murty, a few foreign players whose futures are even more uncertain. We're apparently paying good wages to guys like Pena and Herrera who have done zero, and we also now have a squad without the guy who brought them all together.

If we lose both games to Aberdeen our season is effectively over, with none of the goals set by the board achieved.

Transparency was the buzzword from the board, and now we hear nothing whatsoever from them. This just leads to even more uncertainty, the rumour mill running riot and the entire club in disarray.

Now there's a rumour of King going to sell his shares in January, leaving even more unanswered questions.

The board basically have four days to set things right, especially if we get beat by Aberdeen on Wednesday.

I think the board are going to have to play an absolute blinder on Thursday to continue to have backing from the fans and other shareholders.
