Chuckwin Quickest to 300 wickets

Ashwin does like his own comforts (who doesn't) but the man is the quickest player to reach 300 test wickets. Give him some credit.
Does this feat mean he's the best spinner ever? No, of course not but he is a modern great.

Kash you have said it yourself. He didn’t play on nz because our think tank back then wanted a batsman and a run container not a wicket taker. Under kohli I think we will always go with bowlers who can give the teams wickets.

If ashwin gets a decent rope he will have an impact. Even in Australia in the first test they went with Karn sharma a guy that hadn’t played cricket for India before, and it’s the same wicket in which the ball spun a lot.

Ashwin has a lot to prove, but no team so far has been able to handle his and jadeja’s bowling so far. And most the matches we have played in have been very good batting tracks. Speaks great volumes of this team

India go to SA and then England next summer so will be interesting to see how Ashwin performs. The question is on a seaming track will they pick him or Jadeja or play both?

Actually Ashwin is a good player but his action is very suspect but his action is never reported suspect by ICC umpires whereas players with proper action like Hafiz get reported for suspect bowling action to ICC after they bowl well and become number 1 all rounder in the world according to ICC rankings.

A shame that this site has been taken over by sad little Pakistani trolls. Ashwin's action is cleaner than any spinner you ever had.
