Clattenburg allowed Spurs to self destruct

Quite a refreshing statement this, as the refs are always the scapegoats for most fans to blame a failure on.

he basically in a round about way says he was not going to send a spurs player off no matter what they did(he says he could of sent of 3 or 4), going into a game with that mind-set as a ref means your blatantly favouring one team over the other, he completely lost control of that game so damage control? a book coming out soon maybe?

I don't think it is refreshing at all. In fact it shows how open refs are to fixing games -albeit I think he is talking bs to cover up how awful he was in that game.
Players could easily have been injured in that game, as he let it descend into farce.

With the amount of very suspect decisions in the PL, this does not help ease the feeling the game is corrupt.

he's a manU re fan so how many pens has he given them to manage the outcome ??

Or extra mins to allow them to score???

He could have influenced the outcome of this match by not sending players off.....what an earth is he talking about.

Can you imagine him not sending off an Arsenal player in the same situation

This just goes to show the game is fixed and refs are biased.
