We got 3 points this time round in the CL

Benfica got 0
Anderlecht 0
FK Qarabag 2
Olympiakos 1
NK Maribor 3
Feyenoord 3
Monaco 2
Apoel Nicosia and B Dortmund 2

out of that lot only Dortmund are going to be in the Europa...

Teams in the Europa who didn't even make the land of milk and honey of the Champions League!!

Arsenal, Steaua Bucuresti, Zenit St. Petersburg, Lyon,
Dinamo Kiev, Everton, Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Marseille, Lazio, AC Milan.

To name but a few... and not including some huge teams that didn't even qualify for either!

Most of these teams can outspend us..
These teams either come from a league were there are only 1 or 2 teams ever going to win it.
OR a league with a super club e.g. Barca, Juve were the best they can hope for is 3, 4 or 5th any year!

Our league is no different from these countries so we ARE at our level.

So, yes we might have to to rely on finding a Fraser Forster or a Wanyama and a van Dijk and yes we need to have everyone on form and yes we might need vital decisions to swing our way to progress even to the last 16 BUT we've done it before and like our bear friend dreaming stopping us winning... oh 20 titles in a row.. us fans love football because sometimes dreams come true.. 2-1 against Barca, Leicester winning the prem... and who could forget Progres and Lincoln's magical night...

So we are were we are and us Celtic fans especially need to remember that domestically we are as good as we can get, we can afford to try and find the gems that might get us the results in europe and make us a fortune to start the process over again..

I trust Brendan to make progress, weed out those not good enough and produce a few gems along the way... good times (i remember the bad!).

Geez back in my hole!
