So on the way back from the game on Tuesday all the talk was about the fact we need to strengthen the defence in the window.
A new GK , a centre half and a right back ( sorry Mika) seem to be the problem areas.
Who do we go for though?
Quite a few options in terms of players who are in the last 6 months of their contracts.
Realistically we should be looking to spend a fair chunk to really solidify the back line.
GK -
Rafael - Napoli
Sven Ulriech - Bayern
Tim Krul - Newcastle
Right backs -
Joel Ward - Palace
Martin Caceres - Verona
Sebastian Jung - Wolfsburg
Centre Half -
Florentin Pogba - Saint Ettiene
Neven Subotic - Dortmund
Maxime Le Marchand - Nice
One from each of those brackets would be nice, but knowing us we will sign none

I’d have Tavernier in the team 👍

I still think Lustig has more about him defensively but Tav fits into BR's style of having the FB's create the width.
I also think Wes would be better suited than Gordon due to having decent distribution. Sadly thats about it

the lack of crosses is annoying me a bit tbh, it takes out a key part of griffiths game.
its to try and do what barca do as cross balls can lose posession but imo it only restricts play.

I think its effective if the team dominates the ball.
I wonder if the same pattern of goals conceded carries over to Domestic games?
