How brave are we gonna be tomorrow ?

To be taken with a pince of salt, but Jim White on Talksport talking about how he thinks we might win tomorrow. Some interesting points.....

1) Spurs have ended City's unbeaten run's in the past 2 seasons
2) Good recent record at City despite our crap record vs the top 4
3) Teams that play the high press well have troubled city (us & Liverpool this year before than red card)
4) Granted our defense is depleted but theirs is Delph, Mangala, Ottamendi & Walker.... Not great
4) Kane is the best center forward the above have faced this season
5) Dembele & Dele are rested, Kane, Eriksen & Sonny are all back to form
6) As good as City are (no question) are they as good as the "incivincibles"?.... I don't think so, someone has to beat them sometime
7) Unbeaten record, does it start to effect their mentality, pressure does funny things to great teams, players.

TBH....I think we are capable of getting a draw and would sign for one now !!! if we had Victor & Toby then I would fancy our chances.

2-2 & hoping for a great game !!!

What do you think

Lloris
Aurier Dier Vertonghen Rose
Eriksen Dembele Winks/Sissoko Lamela
Kane Son

Bench:
Dele Alli, Davies, Trippier, Vorm, Foyth, Sissoko/Winks,

Now then, don't we wish we had Wanyama and Alderweireld and Sanchez?/

Oh yes... and Fernando on the bench too! <oK>

In regards to the OP’s comment about the invincibles, while their feat of going unbeaten is clearly impressive and very rare. If I’m not mistaken they managed to get 80 points (26 wins and 12 draws) and scored a fairly modest 70-odd goals.

Chelsea twice and Man United (when they actually played football) have topped that total and plenty of teams have scored far more. Things could change but City have already won enough points to have finished 8th last season and have scored 50-odd goals already.

That's 90 points mate.

I remember this because it is exactly double the 45 Spurs managed that dreadful year !
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Typo

Point I’m getting at is that while they went unbeaten that season, their points total wasn’t huge and scarcely believeable.

If a league table was done on highest points totals in a season Arsenal's invincibles would finish 4th

For a 38 game season that is.

Spurs better get a draw at least although I want Spurs to win maybe 1-2.

How does that help the filthies finish second Hafi?

We need Man City record run to stop today at the very least. My view is second is the first loser but its better to finish 2nd then 3rd or 4th although thats obvious.

Spurs were so inept it looked so easy for Man City.

Sane and Walker were rested by City mid week.

They will have too much for spurs.

My prediction is 4-1 City
