Is the level really that low, the USA are the World Champions. I am quite surprised at the result as I believed good technical ability, coaching and experience would count for a lot, especially at the elite level of the women's game.

Is it possible for women to compete?

Is part of the issue down to a lack of participation?

Does this help Strachan's genetics argument? maybe some people (male/female) do not possess the physical attributes (speed/strength) to make it at the highest level?
