For a top 4 aspiring team in the PL era. Last weekends performance inspired me to write this, so who takes your pick?
5 s - Kieran Trippier vs Man City (4-1 Loss). The ex-City youth player came back with a point to prove; and he proved it - City made the right decision. It was men vs boys at the weekend, and boy was generous to describe Trippier's performance. Early in the opening ten minutes Sane burnt past him like he wasn't there, and this was a sign of things to come. The 27-year old from Bury could have replaced with any other 27 year old from that Northern-hole and they would have done an equally as good job. Shocking performance
4 s - Carl Jenkinson vs Man Utd (8-2 Loss). After being sent off for a foul the last time Arsenal and Manchester United faced each-other, many fans thought that SURELY he can't do any worse next time around. Well step up Carl Jenkinson, whilst he had the excuse of being a young player at the time. It didn't detract from the fact that his performance was catastrophic. Getting sent off for a second yellow card was a kindness from the referee - letting a player who looked lost on the football pitch have an early bath.
3 s - Branislav Ivanovic vs Spurs (5-3 Loss). The big Serbian, whilst being a regular starter for Chelsea in a successful era, took it open himself to shame himself and his family name. Nacer Chadli, a player who is inconsistent at best, went on to look like a prime Luis Figo with the help of his opponent. Similarly Harry Kane and Danny Rose identified this glaring weakness and exposed every aspect of his heavily flawed game. A late, lucky, assist helping it on to John Terry was the only highlight of a car-crash performance.
2 s - Gary Neville vs Stoke City (2-1 Win). Arguably the greatest right back to ever play in the Premier League, this match was the footballing equivalent of seeing a horse getting put down in the Grand National. Of all the people to be the final hurdle that felled him, Matty Etherington was the executioner. The Utd talisman, who was coming to the end of his career was shown extreme leniency from Marriner after hacking down Etherington while on a yellow card. Sir Alex Ferguson clearly knew that Neville was in no fit state to compete and subbed him off at half-time for Wes Brown. Gary Neville, a man lucky to last that long, made to look a fool by a Tottenham and West Ham reject.
1 - Other. There are countless other RB's who have put in shocking performances in recent years: Alan Hutton, Bosingwa, Glen Johnson, Micah Richards etc. Are there any other individual performances that stick out in your mind?
Worst ever Right Back performances

Gary Neville, City v United, 2002.
Neville basically gave the ball to Shaun Goater in his own area, the Goat just slid it into the net.

Neville against West Brom when he got subbed at half time has to be the worst I've ever seen. I don't think I'll ever see worse.

Debuchy's last one before being dropped has got to be up there, possibly worse than Jenkinsons one if my alcohol destroyed memory serves me well.
