Doesn’t he look much better in internationals, and was rated much higher at his former club. He’s definitely been very poor. But could be an example of a player that just doesn’t work well with wengers set up.
Like how I bet even if we got a world class CB. They’d still look average at Arsenal

I always give a player a full season. And to be honest Xhaka is shocking. I used to think Schneiderlin was very average and we used to be continuously linked with him. How he disappeared. And Xhaka is so similar. Slow and caught out of position so many times. But has an occasional shot.

Never seen Xhaka play well for Switzerland either.
The guy is far too slow mentally and physically. Just not good enough for the prem, where you need a strong, physical DMF player with pace,energy and a good footballing brain. Xhaka has none of those attributes.
He needs to be shipped out and replaced ASAP.
