On a positive note he played well today. Literally had no decent chances created for him so instead played creator. I read on a daily basis he needs to do more than just wait in the box for a chance and today (and on a few times this season) he’s showed he can do a lot more.
Three great chances were created for Martial, Lingard and Micky respectively. One of those chances gets finished and we go into the Christmas (or Navidad) period with smiles on our faces.
Instead we have people thinking we might not even finish in the top 6

Lukaku played very well. Great passes to Martialw and Lindgard. Both should have been goals. lindgard miss is one of the worst I have ever seen. But I digress, that Lukaku pass to Lindgard was sublime. Reminded me of Berbatov's passing.

Lukaku's hold up and link up play was truly excellent last night.

He didnt touch the ball because he couldnt control it.
Lukaku had his best game for us last night in a while but any top striker will bury that chance.
Not sure how you can defend it really.

The ball was played through to him but before he could touch it Maguire intercepted it and it went straight through to the keeper.
