Celtic v Rangers

Rangers are without captain Lee Wallace who is nearing full fitness, but tomorrow’s game comes too soon for the Scotland cap. Elsewhere, Graham Dorrans, Jordan Rossiter and Kenny Miller are all still out injured.

Ryan Jack sustained an injury in the midweek clash with Motherwell and is a doubt for the match, with Murty refusing to rule out his involvement when speaking at the pre-match press conference. Josh Windass is back available for selection following a suspension that seen him miss the match against the Steelmen.

Celtic are without Johnny Hayes who broke his leg in the boxing day game against Dundee and is likely to miss the rest of the season. Scott Sinclair is expected to return following a recent knock.

Tom Rogic is out with a knee problem, with Patrick Roberts also missing with a hamstring injury. Anthony Ralston, who penned a new deal this week is out as he recovers from a knee problem.

Foderingham; Tavernier, Alves, Wilson, John, Candeias, Holt, McCrorie, Windass, Kranjcar, Morelos

SUBS: Alnwick, Barjonas, Herrera, Bates, Hardie, Hodson, Pena.

Celtic: Gordon, Lustig, Boyata, Ajer, Tierney, Brown, Armstrong, McGregor, Forrest, Sinclair, Dembele.

Substitutes: De Vries, Simunovic, Bitton, Griffiths, Ntcham, Edouard, Johnston.

1-2 Morelos & Windass

Murry’s Record in his first 12 SFPL games is exactly the same as Caixinha
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The difference is that murty inherited someone else's squad and has had no money to spend. Murty has also been thrown in at the deep end.

I think murty should be judged when he has had a chance to bring some players in.

Murty has had to try and steady the ship twice now and done a great job. He has no senior team experience prior to this and has got results twice at celtic park, twice against Aberdeen home and away, away at tyncastle, away at Easter road. He has also won 4 in a row. Unlike Pedro.

Disappointed not to win but we are still miles ahead

All the plaudits go to Rangers in this game. They had a plan and set up to get a result, they got it and but for some poor finishing and good saves from Gordon, could have got more. Think over the two halves a draw was just about right as we should have led at the break but again good goalkeeping and poor finishing prevented that from happening.

Almost all the top performers were in blue - Tavernier, John, McCrorie, Bates and Candias. For us I thought Ajer handled the occasion pretty well, his build and movement with the ball reminds me of Wieghorst and if there is one concern he does lack a bit of pace over a short distance. Makes me believe he and Commper won't make a great pairing as the new guy is not meant to have much pace about him either.

Not too disappointed with the result, we new they would attempt to nullify us in the final third and they largely achieved that with our wide men and wing backs almost completely ineffective.
