Bolton Wanderers v Hull City

2017 is over and you've got to consider it a good year for the whites being promoted at the first attempt and ending the year breaking that championship away win duck which gives Bolton a fighting chance of staying up. Bolton had a good December. Lost 3 games but also won 3 games which shows the value of a win rather than a draw. Bolton have a better chance of staying up winning one and losing one rather than scrapping for draws. Today's opponents hull can't be underestimated. A premier league team 2 out of the last 3 seasons have had a difficult time. Now 19th with 24 points and not won in the last 4. A win and Bolton will pass hull and the mini league will then involve 6 teams. A defeat and it won't look pretty so a definite 6 pointer. Team news. Taylor, ameobi unlikely to be fit. Little has a broken nose. Can't find any other news. Robinson, Cullen, burke, Armstrong all going into their last games at the club before returning to their parent clubs. No news yet of any extensions.

A mini league of 7! Just hope we don't live to regret giving that 2 goal lead away v reading.

It'll end in tears Ken having his January transfer wish list and Phil having his own anybody up for offering to arbitrate on this one they can't both have what they want.

Today Ken says I told you so.
Perhaps a bit premature like he always is replied Patricia while little Lee was sent out into the back yard to count his chickens.
Just another ordinary day in the life of running a football club as the thud of final demands landing on the door mat rings around the hall.

Personally, I'm not too interested in the FA cup but if we win and draw one of the top five premiership teams, maybe Ken might just find a bob or two from the back of the sofa. We can hope.

The annual injury bug strikes again.
Anybody up for a rethink on any of those Beano transfer and loan mission statements.

Time to hunt out that Crunchie I hid before the festivities began and prepare for the big religious event around the world tomorrow.
oh and the FA Cup is town tomorrow as well.
Ken's already downbeat after hearing rumours his twenty thousand will not be turning up this weekend and Phil has half his players wrapped in cotton wool as little Lee spreads the rumours and tries to drum up interest in any player somebody will take off our hands for some magic beans.

News feeds are speculating on the possibility of Karacan being allowed out of the naughty corner which would be a major shock as PP has been determined to date in the punishment fitting the crime.

It looks like changes afoot. It would be great if some of the fringe players really took the opportunity and showed PP they can actually play.

My betting is on Ken forcing the young uns with a potential future sale value on their head onto the team sheet he needs them to breakthrough if he has any ideas of turning down another few billionaires.

Ken will be wanting a statue when he finally gets into enough profit beware he'll be asking the fans to chip in for the optional halo
