PDC Order of Merit...

Following the PDC World Championships, the order of merit has some interesting movements.

Michael van Gerwen is, of course, still number 1 by a distance. Peter Wright has retained the number 2 spot despite a disappointing Worlds.

The first name of interest is Rob Cross. He has jumped to 3rd in the world despite only playing for 1 year. The OoM is done on a 2 year rolling basis, so that is an amazing achievement.

Phil Taylor returns to the top 4 - and despite retiring there is a good chance he will remain a top 16 player for some time!

Gary Anderson and Daryl Gurney are the two who drop out of the top 4 - they are now 5th and 6th respectively.

7th to 11th are Dave Chisnall, Simon Whitlock, James Wade and Raymond van Barneveld.

Two PL players, Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price, sit in 12th and 13th.

Adrian Lewis form has dropped alarmingly, and this means he sits in 21st position of the OoM after starting the Worlds as 7th seed.
Jelle Klaasen has also dropped out of the top 16, sitting in 18th.
